South Hills Council Wins Prestigious Contest of Champions Award
Our Council was honored with the Contest of Champions Award for 2019-2020 on November 4, 2020. State Treasurer Michael Lynch presented the award, marking the first time in a long while that a State Officer had attended our meetings. Our efforts in bringing in 47 new brothers to our Council were recognized, with Chancellor Dave Barone's work being particularly noteworthy.
The Contest of Champions Award is a rare distinction that is granted to only two councils in each state annually. This marks the first time that our Council has received this prestigious recognition. Both the State Deputy and State Treasurer were impressed with our outstanding accomplishments over the past year.
