COUNCIL EVENTS
Ordination Mass for Our Deacons 2026
Our council is proud to support four men who will be ordained to the priesthood on June 27. This is a major moment not only for them and their families but also for our entire community that has walked with them on their journey.
Those being ordained and assigned parishes are:
Erik Pintar (Corpus Christi Parish)
Matthew Selzer (Sts. Francis and Clare Parish)
Loc Van Tran (St. Isidore the Farmer Parish)
Nicholas Wytiaz (Resurrection Parish)
Following the ordination, each new priest will celebrate his First Mass on June 28:
First Mass Schedule:
Nicholas Wytiaz — 11:30 AM, St. Augustine Church (Lawrenceville)
Erik Pintar — 12:00 PM, St. Paul Cathedral (Oakland)
Loc Van Tran — 1:00 PM, St. Valentine Church (Bethel Park)
Matthew Selzer — 3:00 PM, St. Teresa of Avila Church (Perrysville)
We encourage all members of the council, along with their families, to attend the Ordination Mass and support these men as they begin their priestly ministry. First Masses are also a powerful and meaningful way to continue celebrating this milestone.
Let’s show up strong as a council and be part of this moment.

FestPGH 2026
This September, the Catholic Diocese of Pittsburgh is launching FestPGH, a brand-new festival at Highmark Stadium that brings together faith, family, and community in a way our city hasn’t seen before. Built around the mission to connect, serve, and celebrate, the event will feature live music headlined by Switchfoot, along with Mass, confession, a kids zone, an artist market, and a “Faith in Action Village” highlighting local service opportunities. Best of all, it’s free and open to everyone.
This is more than just a concert; it’s a chance to experience faith in action and bring it beyond the walls of the church. As Knights, this is exactly the kind of event we should support. Bring your family, invite a friend, and be part of something that could make a lasting impact across Pittsburgh.
