Pittsburgh Pro-Life March

  • Schenley Plaza 4100 Forbes Avenue Pittsburgh, PA, 15260 United States (map)

The first annual Pittsburgh Pro-Life March will take place on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, at Schenley Plaza at 4100 Forbes Avenue in Oakland (in front of Hillman Library and across the street from the Cathedral of Learning on the University of Pittsburgh campus), with the Rally starting at 11:00 am and the March to follow at noon.

An impressive lineup of speakers is scheduled for the Rally, with the march following an approximately one-mile route that starts and ends at Schenley Plaza.

We strongly encourage Members and their families to attend and support this event, and to promote it to their friends and Parishioners. In doing so, it’s also important that we inform our youth about this event and encourage their participation in the spirit of getting them involved in the Pro-Life movement.

There will also be a Mass at St. Paul Cathedral in Oakland that morning at 9:30 am for attendees of the March/Rally. Bishop Walterscheid will preside at this Mass. Our members are welcome to attend and are encouraged to volunteer as ushers if attending.

Another way Councils can help is by making donations to People Concerned for the Unborn Child (PCUC), the organization planning and conducting this event.  Help is needed toward offsetting costs for security, sound system, publicity, and other related expenses – donations can be sent to PCUC at this address: 3050 Pioneer Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15226.
