MIRACULOUS MEDAL RELIEFS

Our council donated and installed these handmade Miraculous Medal reliefs in several classrooms at South Hills Catholic Academy and Seton LaSalle High School.

The Knights are men of action, and we sincerely appreciate the work everyone has done on this and our future projects.

NOVEMBER 2023
I feel compelled to let you, and the other Knights of Columbus know how impactful the gift of Miraculous Medal statues has been to Seton-La Salle Catholic High School. Since we began the daily prayer of the Angelus in Our Blessed Mother's presence through the Miraculous Medal, a change has come over our school community.

Any description I give, will fail to give it full justice, but there is an aura in our building and a spirit among the students and faculty that many of us can sense.  People generally get along better, the relationships between faculty and students operate at a level of  community and respect that I haven't seen here in a long while.

The students here are not using their locks on their lockers, they have a level of trust in each other and respect for each other that no one would think of stealing from another's locker. The students of Rebels For Life will begin weekly Rosary sessions on Wednesday mornings beginning November 29.  The students made this decision, not the adults. Students are doing community service without being forced or required. We have our largest freshman class in more than a dozen years.  Special things are happening on this campus.

I am a graduate of Seton-La Salle and currently I am in my 25th of teaching here.  This has always been a very good place to teach and learn.  But it seems as though an extra gift of grace has been injected into the life of the school.  It's real. We can feel it.  And there's no question in my mind, that it comes from the holy presence of our Mother Mary.

God Bless you all in your important work.
